Since 2016 the Indian Army has given Impetus to Drone and Loitering Munitions, focusing on Increasing the Optimal Utilisation of Drones in Operations across the Spectrum. Today every second or third Indian Army Formation at the level of Division or Corps has a Multifunctional ‘Drone Laboratory’, Infantry Battalions have Ashni Platoon Trained to Operate Drones and Loitering Munitions, Armoured Regiments, Artillery Regiments and Other Arms and Services have Troops who are Trained in Drone Operations that is used in ISR (Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance), Targeting and Precision Strikes. Credit must be given to the Leadership of the India Army and the Troops who have fast Adapted to the Changing way of Soldiering and training. Earlier an Infantryman had to be Trained in Marksmanship, Fieldcraft, Navigation, Attack and Defence in Platoon level and Company level, having qualified in Support (Mortars, ATGM, MMG), RT and Communications, IT and Computing etc but now in addition to the Prerequisite skills the Troops have fast Adopted to Operating Drones and Drone Warfare, Cyber Security, Use of in house created AI Applications in Operations.

Many people have myths about Special Forces and their Physique after they saw Characters like Rambo. The reality is Far different and startling. Special Forces isn’t only about Abs and Biceps but Rather a Lean mean and Fit Physique.
