@TomCantonMedia @abdimfarah12 If pope missed Gyokeres the striker gets the ball and has an open net to shoot at. The defender is not getting the ball before Gyokeres as he is literally there hence wiped out. Whether Gyokeres scores nobody knows but he has a free shot into an empty net from range

Ethan Nwaneri had more impact on this team last season than what Madueke is showing right now. That £120m on Madueke and Gyökeres feels like a step backwards at the moment… no real improvement in how we progress play or create chances. Nwaneri’s decision-making and creativity look sharper, cleaner, and more effective than what we’re currently seeing from Madueke.

So how is it arsenal play next league game before City when we play CL mid week too and they don’t have any games so get over a week off 🤷‍♂️
