Went to see this at @Hamps_Theatre tonight. It was brilliant. Never thought I’d love a play about dungeons & dragons.

#HTTheHabits @Hamps_Theatre. I play board games and enjoyed journeying into the world of #DungeonsAndDragons. The play explains how this particular gaming group came about, exploring the backstories of the players. Wonderful writing and a superlative ensemble performance.

Ruby Stokes shines as a teenager grieving for her lost brother, leading a first-rate cast of Sara Hazemi, Paul Thornley, Debra Baker and debutant HJamie Bisping. Nimbly directed by Ed Madden.

Bradfield deftly uses the game as a backdrop to playing out social interaction between an inter-generational group which explores attitudes and emotions with a sharp edge of humour (cont)
