@Fly89_ I think what you are saying is we took conversions from Luca and paid down DP's which give us a bunch of CAP left vs what I'm saying is that we haven't chosen to take the "conversions" which gives us less cap space but nearly mirrors what MLS says we have in GAM?

@bradleysweigel So just looking at your numbers, they are not far off. But if you are going off best practices in the league, which I'd assume Chris is adhering pretty close to, there is a lot of GAM expenditure that you do not have accounted for on this sheet.

Can we please now shut down this BS about the players don’t care and they aren’t trying? Big credit to Noonan and the players to hang in there. There are issues they have to solve and they would admit that. Noonan deserves our respect and deserves the summer window to fix it.

@bradleysweigel It's an unfortunate result of Chris' "We should always be in win-now" strategy. With carryover GAM a thing now, it puts us at a significant disadvantage in the long run. A team can reset for a year, and find cheaper contributors. While we pay 8 guys out the nose and burn GAM.

This is what makes me think we may have some opportunity but again with the lack of clarity, its tough to know.

@bradleysweigel Yep. To get back level where we were last year on the 2 DP model, we immediately had to use 2 million in GAM. Then to pay down Teenage's salary, the combined salary and fees of Jabbari, Ramirez, and Bucha, and now we have to buy down 3 DP cap hits instead of 2. It's ugly man.

@allisonnrosss21 IMO giving up goals causes them to show frustration, especially when they were plays typically made. Things aren’t clicking. Is that tactics/Culture? I think Noonan has earned the respect to fix the culture if that’s the issue. Couldve folded easily after the red and they didn’t.

@bradleysweigel Totally disagree. This team looks lethargic almost single game. For example, Evander is a frequent offender of walking, giving low effort and having the ball taken off his foot (one of the goals today even). I think it points more toward culture issues vs the individual though.

Clearly something is wrong, 14 goals in 3 games, we dont need your permission to ask questions of leadership.
