@AlexGelhar Hear me out, really. You like the chances of using a TO, getting the tuddy, getting an onside kick (around 3%) better than a made 45 yard FG, kicking it deep and getting a 3 and out? Fwiw I had Det +7.5/Over 52.5 parlay so not criticizing the result. Genuinely curious.
@PaulPabst@billbarnwell Have to disagree here. Kick it, save all 3 TOs, small chance, but a chance. But to call a TO, and force a successful onside kick?? Not the right call. That’s not result criticism. That’s extending the game WITH increased odds.
It seems bizarre to spend all year (and especially this past week) lauding Dan Campbell for believing in his philosophy and his team for three years, having had those fourth-down decisions pay off over and over again for Detroit, and now insist that he should be kicking
@AlbertBreer Crystal clear like on Amazon. AB, it was the worst. All season. Choppy. Pixelated. Not a service provider thing either. It was an Amazon thing. They need to do better.
Overall, the Peacock experience was fine—stream was good, no real glitches, and the picture was crystal clear like it is on Amazon. Now, it's not like there's some huge benefit to viewers from it being streamed rather than broadcast.
But that was never the point of it. 💰💰 was.
I'm taking a lot of heat for this story in today's paper. That's OK. Would rather be accused of "fear-mongering" than allowing young people to think they've got nothing to fear from COVID19. jsonline.com/story/news/202…
The biggest loser with this election result isn’t Trump — he can start his own media company & make several billion dollars on it — it’s CNN & MSNBC. With Trump gone they have no reason to exist now. Their cable businesses were already drowning, he gave them a lifeline. Now what?
@ClayTravis When people tell you that your initial comments were wrong, all you keep talking about it how you were basing them off of bad data and projections. Explain how what happened here, and the decisions made, is any different.
This is the single worst decision made by any elected official in the country. It was a complete & total disaster spurred by the fear hospitals were going to be overloaded. NY literally sent the sickest & most vulnerable to spread the disease among the sickest & most vulnerable.
AP report: state of New York — ordered by governor Andrew Cuomo — sent over 4,300 elderly hospital patients sick with coronavirus back into nursing homes. This was like pouring gasoline on a fire, helps to explain why New York’s death toll has been so bad. apnews.com/5ebc0ad45b73a8…
