Headed home from a terrific Global Democracy Coalition regional conference in Prague.

Astronomical clock on the old town hall, Prague. Installed 1410. The legend is that city councillors blinded the clock maker after he built it, so he would not repeat the feat anywhere else.

Headed back out — Prague via Madrid from PHL. Looking forward to the European regional convening of the Global Democracy Consortium, which @ketteringfoundation is honored to support.

The Trump Justice Department announced it will execute federal prisoners by firing squad, look at building an “execution facility,” and is moving to change rules to narrow clemency and habeas review. It is 2026 and the federal government is preparing to build a killing facility.
