@mixedknuts Marinakis clearly looks to US sport for a lot of this stuff. He held off on shirt sponsorship in first season back in PL as he thought it was hugely undervalued too.

That detail is interesting. Compared to ANY U.S. sport, DoF/GM roles are highly underpaid right now. We'll see if that changes in the coming years.
