Had fun stopping by the lovely paint and pot room during the Early Years Carousel! What a great way to work on students mobility skills and give them an outlet to express their creativity 🪴

Taking a look back at provocations we did this year. Getting students to build different structures using natural materials is a great way to develop their fine-motor skills and can even be used to integrate a shapes lesson in for cross-curricular learning.

During the play block, students loved engaging in this sensory bin full of different items. Open-ended exploration is a great way to get students minds thinking and stimulate their curiosity! @WECDSB @EY_uwindsor

I love how open-ended this provocation is and allows students to construct their own learning! Another alternative could be to add natural materials found in the environment and see where their imagination takes them! 🌿🪹@EY_uwindsor @WECDSB

edutopia.org/article/childr… This article contains information on how books read in the classroom can begin to have students thinking like mathematicians by having them make connections and analyze problems. What are some other ways that you incorporate math into different subjects?💭
