I just realized a white supremacist burned down 3 black churches in Louisiana, and I don’t know his name. Do you? (Without googling) Are we desensitized? Is this our new reality? If he was Muslim or an immigrant we know the deal. I know I should do better. Shouldn’t we all?

Three Black churches were burned down in Louisiana this month — another victim of the ugliness of hate and destruction. Our churches and places of worship should be safe for everyone, regardless of race or religion. We cannot let hate win.

Our campaign is born out of a love for country. Together we can create an economy where one job is enough, health care is affordable for all, and teachers receive the respect they deserve.
