When interviewing for mid level and senior roles in Europe, at least in my experience and what I have also seen in subreddits, you won’t get these type of questions. They’re so simple that it will be like it’s too good to be true how easy you’re getting the job 😂. Go to tech subreddits of any Western European country or the US, people are crashing out like mad cos they can’t find a job even when they’re experienced. The difficulty level is hard to explain. The questions are mostly situational so it’s hard to just cram and 'read' about it. You’ll need actual experience. In most cases, it does not even feel like an interview. It’s more of a conversation because the interviewers are going to be your peers. If it feels like a typical question and answer interview, it means they’re not moving forward with you. The format is usually something like, "I see you did X in your resume, how did you handle Y?". How you respond determines the next phase of the conversation. Sometimes we even talk about your hobbies. Before I started conducting interviews, my company organised a training session to coach us on what we should focus on. We want to find out what you know and most importantly, how you behave when you don’t know something? Instead of asking microservices vs monoliths, ask about the setup in their current company. You’ll find out what they think about the architecture; you’ll also know if they are familiar with scrum based on how they respond. "We use Postgres but it is a managed service in AWS" already tells you they know about cloud services, so no need to ask any cloud related question except to probe their contribution to managing the cloud resources. A good follow up question will be something related to Terraform. If they don’t have experience with it and can’t explain how AWS is managed in their current company, they’re trying to bullshit their way through. No need to push further, change the topic so they don’t feel like they’re performing badly in the interview.

Interviewer: How does TLS secure your data? Candidate: "It encrypts everything with a public and private key" What's missing from this answer?

An AMERICAN FRAUD SCHEME scamming its own citizens To my fellow Nigerians, As you make money, Please invest in MEDIA. We Need to change how we are perceived globally. This so called fraud scheme has 4 Americans in it 🇺🇸 Aruan Drake, 37, Atlanta, Georgia 🇺🇸 Peter Reed, 35, Oak Forest, Illinois 🇺🇸 Shaquille I. Jackson, 33, Chicago, Illinois 🇺🇸 Lon Goodman, Chicago area, owner of New Dolton Currency Exchange, laundered ~$50M The rest are also American citizens with Nigerian parents. 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Ayobami Osas Christopher, aka “Lovely Man”, 30, Lawrenceville, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Ayorinde Emmanuel Adebayo, 35, Olympia Fields, Illinois 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Olabode Bankole, 37, Loganville, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Chukwuemeka Evulukwu, 35, Atlanta, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Kingsley Owusu, 37, Chicago, Illinois 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Oluwafemi Michael Awoyemi, 40, Romeoville, Illinois 11 on that list were not named probably because of their nationality and the backlash. The only core Nigerians on that list are 4 people, Which I refuse to mention. So technically. This is an AMERICAN FRAUD SCHEME targeting its own citizens You see how they use the media to always push narratives. Nigeria does not have the financial infrastructure to move 215 million dollar. Don’t let anyone gaslight you. THIS IS AN AMERICAN THING.

Every single instance, where this has happened to me and people I know, has always been in reference to an assumption that you're into fraud. And they would like you to put them on. So let's not pretend like this particular scenario doesn't fit to a T.

It's the people chastising him for probably misinterpreting what the painter meant. Gaslighting una. Words like "show me way", "give me update" etc, within a certain environment or context, has largely been used to indirectly refer to fraudulent means of acquiring wealth.

One of the dangerous things about our society now is that people who see you and to them you appear to be doing well, somehow resolve that you have to be into fraud. Random, unexpected message from the guy that painted my house. It’s extremely worrisome.

First time I’ll get to see you pandering to your Christian audience. Your analogy is ridiculously untenable. Brothers arguing the nationality of their father already assume a common human source/ancestry even if the precise identity is unknown. Atheists and theists do not agree on human origin and our creation is precisely what’s being contested. Can’t believe that this is more than a tongue in cheek.

I’m getting a lot of hate for this reel. What do you think? (P.S.: if you say “but we have evidence for dads I believe you have missed the point.)

My older brother sent a package from Abuja through a night bus. He forwarded the driver’s number to me on WhatsApp. "He will get to Ojota park by 5:00 AM," my brother wrote. "Go early before the agberos start making noise." I set my alarm for 4:30 AM. Lagos is a different kind of quiet at that time. The air is cold, wet, and smells heavily of diesel and dust. I parked my car outside the motor park. I pulled my jacket tight and dialed the driver's number. It rang twice. "Hello?" I said. "Oga Samuel," a voice replied. It was incredibly raspy. It sounded wet, like the man was gargling thick liquid while trying to speak. Every breath he took was a heavy, rattling wheeze. "I am at the park," he forced out. "Come to the back and carry your waybill."

An interstate driver who couldn't sleep properly at night because no way to power the small standing fan that helps keep off mosquitoes in his apartment sits behind the steering in the morning with 18 passengers in his bus. The cool morning breeze caresses his face as he drives, he dozes off and veers off his lane into an oncoming private air-conditioned car of a man who had a good night's rest and taking his kids to school. 18 passengers dead. The man taking his kids to school losses both legs. Kids dead. If one isn't you, the other could be. You have no idea how much bad governance puts you at risk every day.

Not having stable electricity means that your water supply would be epileptic and so you wouldn’t be able to take showers with your partner because you’re managing water. This means that you’d have nobody to help you wash your back and your back will be dirty. This might cause friction in the bedroom when your partner is kissing your back and they taste dirt. Get your PVC, we have to vote this party out so your relationship can be saved.

When the new peak milk(filled) came out, a lot of the sellers were marketing it as the same with the full cream one "na just the paper dem change" just to make sales. It was cheaper and they could sell it, or attempt to, at the same price of the old one.

I get that some of these brands are sneaky with marketing. But being someone who has been in the markets, the wholesalers and retailers also have a hand in this false perception of some goods. I recall trying to correct people multiple times on their miscategorization of goods.

Margarine una You people continue to be disengenious in this conversation. They know we'd just call it butter if they put it as bread spread. So they aren't necessarily lying (so that nafdac probably wouldn't sanction them) Acting like we didn't think it was butter growing up.
