I had to brush up on how to use SharedFlow as I used to use ConflatedBroadcastChannel. This article sums up why it's not intuitive at first. itnext.io/mutablesharedf…

@mrmans0n How do you detect on ktlint if `Text()` emits composables or if it's just a "normal" function? I'm trying to implement this rule myself. (If something like this was open sourced would be even better)

We have a rule to make sure composables don't emit content at their top level. This created an implicit dependency with their parent composable: if it was used inside of a Column, it would be displayed differently as if it was used inside of a Row.

A big challenge to face when a big team with a large codebase starts adopting Compose is that not everybody will start at the same page. This happened to us at Twitter. Compose is 🔝, allows for amazing things, but has a bunch of footguns to be aware of. ktlint to the rescue!

The best managers/leaders aren't constrained by process. Process is a tool. It can be helpful or harmful. Do the right thing even if it doesn't always look like what the process says. Because if you don't actually know what the right thing is, following process won't save you.

My first time on a podcast and it was so fun! Chat with other detekt maintainers about how the other maintainers see the project. It was funny, all of us have the same favorite rule! Thanks @thebakerydev for this opportunity :) #Kotlin #AndroidDev

@ZacSweers @saifc_ Which "rules" did you follow for the R alias names? We had some discussions internally about this tro: `StyleR` vs `RStyle`. We end up using `RStyle` because we are used to write `R` and then autocomplete.

@jessewilson Is this related with upgrading to the last version of coroutine-test 🤣? I think that a baseline for warnings would be a good middle point.

If you are a multi billion dollar company and are concerned about log4j, why not just email OSS authors you never paid anything and demand a response for free within 24 hours with lots of info? (company name redacted for *my* peace of mind)
