@bralon__ Yes.. and that’s what i mean. A playoff-caliber team in the southern region. SU or any other team should be able to be competitive and/or beat them. We recruit against those schools as well

@bralon__ I wouldn’t use NDSU cause they basically a G5 team just still in FCS, but it’s other playoff caliber teams in the southern region alone that we could at least pick up the phone & call.

@juhpeezy Exactly! Playing a D2 teams should be an absolutely no-no. It’s 265 fcs/fbs (D1) programs, over 50+ within the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Georgia alone! It’s no reason a D2 should ever pop up on Alcorn schedule again! It’s lazy and looks bad.

@bralon__ I don’t even wanna see 1 D2 game on our schedule unless no other choice. Those other 1-2 OOC games need to be against FCS teams

ADs, coaches, and presidents/chancellors FAIL football athletes by scheduling D2 teams. Especially those who may have a future on the next level! Quick to scream “draft Swac players because we have good players too” You literally wasted an opportunity for them to prove that‼️

There's only one SWAC school that's aiming to be a Top 5 FCS program and the schedules prove it to be fact. Everybody else is just trying to make the SWAC Title Game.

4 options. 1) trade whatever for Giannis (unlikely) 2. Trade JB for MPJ, clowney, 2 frps then JK, bud, mood and 2 frps for Zion 3. Same as 2 but Lauri instead of Zion 4. Same as 2 but Ja instead of Zion **highly unlikely someone takes JB contract though.
