@binghott Depends on your definition of ‘breakdown effect’, but yes I think we’re talking about the same.

@binghott This is true. I can’t count the number of times it prefers 1 ad over all others in the same ad set because of limited data, rapidly ignoring all other ads without them having enough budget allocated to really test. It doesn’t lean the other ads are worse, they just got ignored.

Passing 10,000 followers on here was a big deal to me 1 year ago.
Today I hit 20k and while I'm not quite as excited as I was at 10k, I'm still happy.
As someone who focuses on continuous improvement, it's easy to keep looking toward the future, but it's also important to remember to take a moment to stop, celebrate these milestones, and appreciate what I've accomplished so far.
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all 20k of you, especially the bunch of you who have become IRL friends, clients, and business partners.
I'm so excited about what the future holds and I'm just getting started.
I still struggle to comprehend how many marketers out there want to hear me ramble on about boring stuff like ad attribution and ugly ads 😅

iOS17 is here and NO, it doesn't remove UTM parameters from the URL. Here's what's really happening:
Using Safari Private Mode:
- Click identifiers like gclid and fbclid are being removed
- UTM parameters like utm_source and utm_medium remain
