If a video game is in development, I don't wanna hear shit about it, AT ALL. I don't want a trailer, I don't even want a hint that it even exists unless it's 98% done. I know that sounds crazy but it's where I'm at.

@unrlunrth I first heard I, Carrion when pregnant and I really connected with references to carrying worlds and feeling heavy. Lyrics about burdens and sharing the weight of those and in doing so feeling lifted and weightless really spoke to me, and made me appreciate my partner more. 🥰

@lethendraIis They dragged it out for years. Teasers & trailers & blog posts & merch. They started marketing DA4 in 2018, then released a cinematic trailer in 2020, another teaser in 2023, & blog posts 1-2 times a year for 5-6 years teasing & hinting at the game. It started getting annoying.

Sometimes I remember DA4 actually released because this is probably the quietest my DA timeline has ever been (myself included). Did we just .. not vibe with the game? Did we simply burn out after their 6+ year marketing campaign? Honestly the shift should be studied.

@MyLove_OfMusic I feel so much the same. I confess.. I've not actually replayed it. I did my first PT, felt generally sad, and haven't even once felt a temptation to play it again. Which is bananas for a BW game.

@shoplunamise I think it's a combination of both. I still stand by loving Veilguard, but so much of it frustrates me that when I think of replaying... I just kind of want to go back to one of the other 3, instead :( I KNOW I want to play it again, but it's like the drive to do it isn't there.
