@Thevesh @bramha_cfc @hannahyeoh What’s worse is going an hour earlier does not translate to leaving earlier. She has omitted the return journey. What do you think of staggered hours? Some come early and leave early. Others start & end late. All should be in office between 11-3 for group meetings.

I think the policy is silly and disconnected from reality, but I appreciate you trying to do something.
No need to "work with Zus to collect the data....analyse the pattern".
Feel free to ask your officers to contact me - using only open-source data (public transport ridership, traffic cams, Google Maps), I can already show you the time distribution of travel into KL in the morning, and out of KL in the evening. And if you add the additional data which gov has access to, you'll get an even richer picture.
Hint: It's massively driven by the time people send their kids to school, and your policy will barely move the needle.

Well. That's a separate point I didn't want to touch on, but since you're mentioning it:
In general, I don't like gomen mixing with biz. If this policy was initiated by Minister, then it should involve multiple operators (including small ones).
If it was proposed by Zus, then gov shouldn't be their free promo vehicle.
I've no idea what the situation is here - more transparency on the nature of the relationship between Zus and gov in this instance would help.

@Thevesh I mean that would be the first thing that will pop up in anyone's mind. There are so many questions than answers. Why them? Why coffee when you know caffeine and sugar are not healthy. Ppl are already travelling early to avoid jam, so who are the target audiences?

🚨 JUST IN : FIFA has imposed a new sanction on FAM, overturning Malaysia’s results in three international friendly matches to 3–0 defeats for fielding an ineligible player against Cape Verde, Singapore and Palestine between May and September.
The world body also fined FAM RM51,414.
FAM said it will submit a written request for the grounds of the decision before deciding on its next course of action.
