The "western nations" (a.k.a. the vassals of big capital) are aspiring a 3rd world war. Hot or cold. Because winning that is feasible and winning a 3rd world war is the only way to maintain the hegemony of big capital. Peace is not an option because that would inevitably mean a redistribution of wealth.

@DrSuneelDhand No. It is going to make privileged people more privileged and underprivileged more underprivileged. Smart people with no capital will quickly lose leverage wrt normies and now everyone will be squeezed out like lemons, regardless of talent.

@ReutersCommods So the US government is killing babies and people on dialysis by denying oil to public services, but making sure someone has a hot shower at a private hotel? OK the US is just evil plain simply evil.

Reuters confirms why I’ve been saying: the U.S. has been allowing fuel in to Cuban private businesses like foreign-operated hotels but barring it from hospitals and other publicly run institutions. I’m sure that the NYT and The Free Press, which produced entire articles about Hasan Piker’s hotel, will do a follow up now

Iraq has some of the world’s largest oil reserves but the money it earns doesn’t fully flow through Baghdad. Instead, a system set up after the US invasion in 2003 still gives Washington lasting leverage over Iraq's oil revenues. Al Jazeera’s Osama bin Javaid explains.

This type of false argumentation, where you ‘refute’ someone, not the actual thing their are claiming, because in their identity they demonstrate somehow that they are part of the society that they are critiquing, is very common among conservatives. This is, for me, the breakfast test of public discourse. These people are probably not even able to understand their own mistake. You might as well argue with a plant.

Libya negotiated. Let's be precise about what happened to Libya. In 2003, Muammar Gaddafi made a strategic decision to abandon his weapons programs, open his country to international inspectors, and normalize relations with the West. He paid reparations for Lockerbie. He dismantled his nuclear program. He cooperated with Western intelligence against Al-Qaeda. He did everything that was asked of him. He negotiated. He complied. He normalized. In 2011, NATO bombed Libya for seven months. His own military turned against him with Western backing. He was captured in a drainage pipe. A mob sodomized him with a bayonet while Western officials watched via satellite feed. Hillary Clinton laughed about it on camera. "We came, we saw, he died." The man who gave up his deterrent in exchange for promises of security and normalization died in a drainage pipe while the people who made him those promises laughed at the footage of him being sodomized with a bayonet. And Libya, which had the highest GDP per capita in Africa, free healthcare, free education, housing subsidies, and a functioning welfare state, became a failed state with open slave markets within three years. This is what negotiated security guarantees look like. This is the documented outcome. Not a fringe case. Not a misunderstanding. The most complete, unambiguous illustration possible of what your weapons are worth the moment you give them up. The lesson is not complicated. The only deterrent is a deterrent you still possess. The moment you negotiate it away, you have nothing left to negotiate with.

"Negotiations" this word the people of the world hate most. You can stand against the devil fighting. The moment you stop you're done.

all this fruit AI bullshit and the huge push for integrating chatGPT into day-to-day is to create an unintelligent underclass that will never critically engage with the horrors they’ll continue to develop to accumulate all wealth

🚨 BREAKING Iraq officially declares its entry into the war alongside Iran against the United States and Israel. "We have decided to respond and defend ourselves against the attacks targeting our official Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF)." This comes as Israel and the US continue to launch raids on PMF headquarters, killing numerous leaders.

By virtue of the fact that now everything with a pulse can "create" semi-functional apps a brand new vector for digital criminals has emerged. Expect stuff like this to grow to fungus on your coffee residu. Expect a good proportion of them to be honeypots and hooks to plant spyware, malware or even ransomware. Expect that most of the netizens are too naive and too eager to join the agent hype.

There is only one ideology in history with this virulent dehumanising hatred towards socialism/communism, an ideology that can also, just like the one dominating the US right now, is violent, nationalist, racist, exceptionalist, imperialist and corpocratic. Wake. The. Fuck. Up. You are not on the right side of history if you are still supporting the US (regime) at this moment.

‼️🇷🇺 Heated shoe pads fitted with IEDs A foreign national has been detained in Moscow on charges of terrorism, transporting 504 IED packages. These IEDs were smuggled from Poland through Belarus into Russia. The package was meant to be a humanitarian gift to the Russian army. According to the FSB each device contained 1.5 grams of TNT and detonates when connected to a power source causing limb injuries. The Ukrainians in coordination with the Europeans planned to pull a MOSSAD pager attack on Russian nationals. Do European civilians truly grasp the potential consequences of this? Russia is now justified to reciprocal terrorism against EU nationals, your phones, cars, you should be scared. Is this the world Europe wants? Great work to the FSB as always.
