@ValuablOfficial Not that they should per say but real estate investors and sellers will know this and always take advantage of it.

@brandonchappy14 So you reckon that house prices should go up at about the same pace as wages? That makes sense to me.

Are rising house prices good for society? Why?

@ValuablOfficial Just on account of most businesses (if they can) in the US give raises at the end of the year to their employees based on a 2 percent inflation rate.

@brandonchappy14 How did you settle on 2%?

@ValuablOfficial Its more complex than that statement but in a simple answer home prices rising more than 2 percent a year is bad for everyone.

@ValuablOfficial I think if you keep them updated and well kept then home prices rising 2 percent a year are a good thing. In 30 years your 100k house is worth 160k. You are rewarded for not letting an asset deteriorate and there isn’t a sudden shock in prices for future generations.
