I lost my grandmother on Feb. 24th, 2026. She was laid to rest on April 11th, 2026.

Buea: Man Shot in the Chest While Defending Wife from Armed Robbers
Nguni Urbain, a resident of Buea, survived a gunshot wound to the chest after confronting armed robbers who attempted to sexually assault his wife.
The incident occurred a few days ago at the real estate agent's home in Bonduma, Buea. He recounted that two gun-wielding robbers broke in, forced money from him, and also emptied his mobile money account.
But when the attackers attempted to assault his wife in his presence, Nguni fought back, leading to a violent struggle.
He said they “ordered my wife on the bed so I decided to strike. After hitting them I succeeded to open the door and step out still struggling and shouting. He shot me on the chest. The bullet passed directly and burst my back.”
Fortunately, the bullet missed his heart. The robbers fled after firing the shot, terrified that the sound might have alerted people in the neighborhood.
Nguni Urbain is now undergoing treatment at the Buea Regional Hospital after a successful surgery. As he recovers, he has God and doctors to be grateful for saving his life.
