Really enjoyed walking Parkerson Mill Creek with Dr. Jim Stoeckel’s lab this week. Bonus of a Daniel Gragson guest appearance to share work he’s doing with invasive plants (& some fish observations, of course) #PMC #streamrestoration @ACESedu @AuburnAg

🌽#AL Crop Update🌽
After a week of rain and cooler weather, many agricultural areas are seeing slight improvements. Pastures & soil moisture are recovering, peanut & cotton harvest are nearly complete, and 46% of winter wheat has emerged. #ALDroughtReach

🌽#AL Crop Update🌽
Much of the state has gone weeks without rain, which has delayed 3rd hay cuttings, winter wheat planting, and peanut harvest. Some areas of North AL also had their first frost of the year, which has exacerbated grazing shortages. #ALDroughtReach
