Chicago needs a hero, and I’m ready to answer the call.
I’m running for Mayor in 2027 because I refuse to sit back and watch our city continue to suffer from rising crime, unaffordable living, and businesses being pushed out.
As Mayor, I will: Tackle crime and restore safe streets
Lower high property taxes and bring relief to homeowners
Support and protect our small businesses
Make Chicago affordable again for working families
Invest in our youth and strengthen our communities
This isn’t about politics, it’s about results. I’m not part of the Democratic machine, I’m here to dismantle it and give the city back to its rightful owners: the hardworking, tax-paying, Chicago citizens.
It’s about accountability.
It’s about transparency.
It’s about putting Chicagoans FIRST.
We’re taking our city back, and we’re doing it TOGETHER.
Vote Danielle Carter-Walters for Mayor 2027. THE PEOPLE’S MAYOR.

Heaven ushered in a hero of the faith last night as my Dad was welcomed home!
Many will say sorry for your loss but the truth is he’s not lost, we know exactly where he is.
He’s home.
Forever!
I asked him last week what he looked forward to most about Heaven, and he simply said, “Jesus.”
He couldn’t wait to see Jesus face to face.
Praise God that his wait is over.
Death has been swallowed up in victory.
He’s healed and whole now.
So we don’t mourn as those with no hope.
See you soon Dad!

I'm signing off now to bury my father tomorrow.
Brigadier General James Emory Mace, Sr. was a real war hero. He died with shrapnel from Vietnam still lodged in his body. He deserves my full attention and so much more. The most decorated living graduate of The Citadel ever, when he was still with us.
If you'd like to pay your respects, our family would be honored to have you, we are opening his service to the public:
Summerall Chapel, The Citadel
171 Moultrie Street
Charleston, SC
5:00 PM EDT tomorrow

Amazing: LA schools will eliminate personal devices in K and 1st grade, and limit use in grades 2-5, and give parents more options. I think this will catch on nationally:
