@Its_ROSScheck @AkronMarathon I find it hilarious that I'm learning of this on Twitter, which I am currently checking for the first time in....? I would love to run with you for as long as I'm able and talk/not talk as much as you would like. But you'll need to supply your own pickle juice :)

All this to say, anyone running the @AkronMarathon who would like a pacer? I would probably be most effective at helping someone cross their finish line in around 5 hours. I can talk or not talk, encourage you or be tough as preferred, and remind you to hydrate! Anyone??

So, funny story...I thought I deferred my @AkronMarathon entry...but then a cool lil virtual run box showed up on my doorstep. So now I kinda have to run it.

I believe in the personal and political power of local journalism—and I believe we may need deep, thoughtful community coverage now more than ever. I can't believe I get to be part of a team so committed to the same values. Still feels a bit like a hazy Saturday morning dream.
