Here’s a secret about GTM recruiting that might sound counterintuitive: Companies hire Bravado to recruit for them - not because they don’t have enough applicants, but because they have TOO MANY. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack. Plus, we often match them with candidates who aren’t even applying because they’re at the top of the leader board in their current role. A lot of sales leaders are outbound poaching, too. So, what does that mean for candidates who ARE actively applying? You better be a good enough sales person to sell yourself. You’re competing for the company’s attention the same way you’re competing for the attention of your prospects. Prospecting is prospecting.

Never underestimate the Sales Savages who don’t have a glossy resume with a linear career trajectory.
