The black community will never have any power as long as we are overly loyal to either the Democrat or Republican parties. Both parties are designed to keep you exactly where you are. The evidence is in the last 60 years of history.

@WmAG_V The Democratic Party has a real racism issue that no one will acknowledge. I think that it's because they sound better than the Republicans do but neither party has done very much for the black community. Politics has never been the answer and it never will be.

Actually just 25 years ago the Democrats backed legislation that destroyed more black families than any group of politicians in history. You ever heard anything about three strikes laws? Go look up the devastation that that caused black people. Allegiance to one political party over the other has never been a winning strategy for the black community and until we become smart enough to understand that we will always find ourselves being oppressed, left behind, looking stupid and broke.
