@TimelyVonLycaon No gacha community is ever really “chill”. One issue with ZZZ is that it tries to cater to everyone. There’s the gooner crowd that enjoys that aspect of the game, and the regular crowd that prefers everything else. When the devs favor one side over the other, people get upset.

/Not Lycaon Whenever I see someone say "ZZZ always had a chill fandom before X ruined it" its just so interesting to me, because as someone who's been here since CBT1, I've seen the fandom evolve, and I know exactly what happened. But #THEY will absolutely hate the answer

The problem is that since the middle of Season 2, a large portion of this “community” has been constantly doomposting out of nowhere. And yes, I call it doomposting because none of it is real critique.

Buddy… we’re not the ones hating on this. The ZZZ community isn’t even mad about that. If anything, we’re annoyed at those people too. It’s not us constantly complaining about every update, it’s mostly other Hoyo players, not even WUWA players if we're honest. You’ve got Genshin Impact / Honkai: Star Rail players larping as Zenless Zone Zero fans just to show up and talk trash, even though they’ve never actually played the game. Check their accounts — it’s usually an HSR profile picture with a ZZZ UID that has like 4–12 total login days or sometimes they themselves admit that they do not care for ZZZ. They’ll say “Season 1 was peak,” but they never even reached Sons of Calydon or anything close to that. The actual ZZZ community is still one of the best in the gacha space. People who try to bring that same toxic mindset from other games don’t really get power here. If they did, you wouldn’t even be able to post something like a Wise harem ship without it getting mass-harassed. But that doesn’t happen, because those people are still (thankfully) a small minority here. And that’s very different from what you see in Genshin or HSR, where even something as simple as a straight ship fanart can get flooded with hate. I’m not saying you can’t dislike the trailer, you’re absolutely allowed to have your own opinion. But at the very least, you should know who Sunbringer actually is before hating on her “new design.” Most people don’t even manage that basic step. We are better. And we should keep it that way.

Man this is kind of disappointing. We already have three other characters in the same trailer with their chests exposed like that. Please put the coat back on.

S2 has offer some great things, but they’re often overlooked simply because it isn’t “urban,” with many people dismissing it based on its setting rather than its writing (Imo patch 2.4-2.5 isn’t that bad, the only really bad thing is how they treat sarah)

I do think S1 is overall better than S2, but the criticism toward S2 feels a bit too harsh. People treat S1 as if it were this flawless perfect of a creation, but I don't see that same energy before S2 even came out.

ZZZ "fan" got offended when people call them tourist, and proceed to reply it with the word r*p1st and PDFile. This might be the worst community oat ✌😭
