The gas subsidy from SG team was by collection, e.g. BK, CC, etc. all automigrated.
Creators can sponsor claims for all their holders if they wish, and otherwise users can decide which collections they wish to claim from.
The vast majority of collections that had any volume, creator activity or community interest were auto-migrated and the team also posted for several weeks that any requested collection would be added as well.
So likely the vault wallet has a lot of NFTs in it from collections that didn't qualify, weren't submitted to be added, and/or don't have active creators.

@brdsig did I miss si window for free migration or is this the norm?
Vault wallet still in limbo lol / less offended by the 9 atom fee on main wallet

@MisterMinded Glad you grabbed one. There are a few cyclops style creatures in the collection but the snails specifically are a tribute to your art.

I am a big fan of @normiesART
I grabbed a few just after launch for love of one-bit/monochrome pixel art without knowing much about the project.
The collaborative, art-forward direction since then has been really refreshing.
Really fun project, congrats @serc1n.

Anyone know/suggest a discord holder verification bot other than Vulcan?
Twice in the last 10 days we had all token gated roles removed from all members.
First one is fixed thanks to @MauxFaux fast response, but at this point reseting roles every 5 days and ping everyone to re-verify doesn't sound good.

@DooSpotti @BigMoneyonSG An extra creator claim step is required for ongoing vending minter collections.
English

@BigMoneyonSG What does it mean that you sponsored the claim process? Does not they appear automatically?

@ShutenDoji20 @StargazeZone One change already in place when new studio/launchpad goes live - collection launch fee is per token, not a flat fee. Same price for large collections, much cheaper for smaller.
This is intended to lower the entry cost for creators doing small unique / art focused collections.

TLDR: People have a lot to say about the quality, or lack thereof, of what’s historically been on @StargazeZone's Launchpad to mint. Be cool to hear people’s constructive suggestions and approach to refining it.
Something that I'm sure has been on many people's minds w.r.t. launchpad and new collections on Stargaze is how to achieve a decently curated feed that’s initially visible before scrolling through the others. There’s been many an outcry about ‘spammy / slop’ collections taking up the listings…
'Spammy / slop' sounds a bit harsh because individuals all have personal preferences in what they enjoy from a visual perspective, what resonates with them or what /why they would choose to buy to have in their wallet.
Granted there's just been a massive migration but the current collections on launchpad look abysmal and 90% all by one creator. This isn’t a finger-pointing exercise, but have to use this as a starting reference point & merely highlighting what the general consensus has been for the most part from what I have seen people comment as well as the catch-22 of being permission less.
After reading through a few suggestions over time these are my thoughts about refining the launchpad. Would be interesting to hear others’ constructive thoughts or suggestions about this. As always, a team cannot please everyone but if it’s the majority then maybe that’s what counts.
I saw this raised in Discord by someone and seems like an interesting approach. The current fee to launch a collection is $99. Whilst this aims to reduce the proliferation of crap being launched, this is most likely quite a barrier to some really aspiring artists or creators out there who just cannot afford it.
SUGGESTIONS(?)
Launch a two-tab model.
------------------------------
Default 'Premium' Tab ($99 collections)
------------------------------
This is what every casual visitor sees first. It stays the clean & 'high-quality'. New users aren’t immediately hit with low-effort junk & creators who pay the full fee get the best visibility, bigger marketing push, and the 'official' launchpad treatment.
------------------------------
Secondary “Community” Tab ($10 collections)
------------------------------
'Community' or 'Indie'.
It sounds intentional and welcoming rather than 'budget bin.'
It's discoverable but not front & centre, so it doesn't dilute the main experience.
Maybe limit the max supply, no custom whitelist at launch, or require a small % royalty burn to be a slight ‘deterrent’ for pure spam
After 7-14 days of good performance (volume, holders, etc.), a Community / Indie collection could auto-promote to the 'Premium' tab or get a “Rising” badge. That rewards merit and could be a great accolade /achievement. Inspiring them to put more art out there.
You still get to retain that curated feel (which long time Stargaze users want) but also allows that 'playground' for other current or aspiring artists / creators out there.
With Launchpad & regarding how the list / order of NFT collections are determined viz. what is portrayed by default (before the user filters and sorts by the criteria they specifically want to see).
1) Sort by ‘Mint Progress %’ descending option (?). Potentially creates that additional FOMO from the outset when seeing something is nearly done minting and one would like to get in on the action.
2) Perhaps some sort of algorithmic sorting and personalisation is needed.
Criteria could be:
🟣 Quality or reputation scores
🟣 If the collection has a verified social account like Twitter.
🟣 A 'Recommended For You' based on one's past mints or wallet activity.
🟣 For any given collection, take into account how many collections has said creator done, timeframe between each, how many have minted out or hardly minted at all… give it a weighted average and this increases or decreases the order of visibility rankings.
Maybe start with a hybrid model and get users feedback and adapt / change it as required.
