@CardPurchaser Had a conversation with EBay customer service today about how the USPS charges extra postage because the PWE can’t go through the postage machine. They claim they had no idea this was happening. Told them it happens all the time. They are going to look into it, allegedly.

Just found a cheap slab on eBay with eBay standard envelope shipping... bought it just to see what happens

@InstaMntalMasta @UltraModernBall I ship approximately 1K ESE/month. All toploaded. I can't recall the last one that was returned as non-machinable or was damaged. Thickness is important of course, as is meeting the rest of the ESE criteria.

@breakingbald2 @UltraModernBall Top loaders are rigid. That’s why they get stuck and get labeled non machinable. Also, people add too much packing and it goes over 1/4” thick. I would think their rigidity would be akin to a credit card, which is acceptable, but they are slightly stiffer.

First time this has happened to me, but I know it's been a trend lately (and they wrecked the envelope for good measure). Hope it's an outlier.

@InstaMntalMasta @jphuckinplay @UltraModernBall That does not mean that a toploader = non-machinable though. Also, USPS messaging is on these labels is not always accurate.
