@talorscalf It’s a constant struggle, but you’re breaking the cycle for your kid. And one day, she’ll love you specifically for that reason. And that’s pretty cool

Don’t get what I’m about to type twisted. I love my daughter more than anything in this world but being a mom is soo freaking hard some days. I put so much pressure on myself cause I over compensate for what I needed as a child, and didn’t feel like I got emotionally.

Update: I’m halfway through the second episode and I still think Casey is a manipulative pathological liar and she hasn’t done anything to convince me she wasn’t involved in her daughter’s death. I do think she is probably telling the truth about her SA as a child though
