FATHER-IN-LAW RESPONDS WITH EVIDENCE, DENIES ALLEGATIONS Following the earlier complaint brought by a mother of four and police officer, her father-in-law appeared in the studio the next day to respond to the allegations made against him. During his appearance, he presented documents and records of transactions, which he said were meant to clarify the situation and counter the claims raised. He denied the allegations that he seized the house, collected rent unlawfully, attempted to sell the property, or took possession of a car belonging to the complainant. He also provided his own explanation regarding why some of the children were asked to leave the house. According to him, many of the claims made against him were not accurate, and he insisted that his actions have been misunderstood. The matter, now involving both sides of the story, was further examined on Brekete Family, as efforts continue toward clarification and possible resolution. Video 👉🏿 youtu.be/gTs-DHlVl44

ASP MOTHER OF 4 FIGHTS FATHER-IN-LAW WHO TOOK EVERYTHING AFTER HUSBAND'S DEATH - ALLEGEDLY A mother of four and an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) came to Brekete Family with a story of betrayal that defies comprehension. It began with a medical emergency and descended into a nightmare of tradition twisted, property seized, and children displaced. When she went for the Cesarean section for her fourth child, the doctors left the placenta inside her. Four over a week later, she underwent four surgeries to correct the error. Instead of support, her husband's family invoked tradition: they said it was 'taboo' for a doctor to see a married woman naked. They abandoned her in the hospital, leaving only her relatives to care for her. When she was discharged, her father-in-law called. The message was clear: deny her entry to her husband's house. She had to move to her family home. Then came the accusations. Her husband began accusing her of adultery. His family summoned her to their village to swear on the graves of their ancestors. She went. She swore. They sent her husband to come—he refused. A court order followed. Her husband filed for divorce and demanded custody of the children. She went to court, agreed to the divorce, and won custody of her youngest child while sharing custody of the other three. The next day, her eldest son called. His father had fallen and was in the hospital. He died. Her current complaint is that following his death, her father-in-law allegedly took dispossession: - He seized the family house and chased out the two eldest children - He seized the car she bought after returning from peacekeeping duty - He collects her late ex-husband's salary as if it were his own - He rents out parts of the house for personal profit - Now he is trying to sell the house while she and her children are left with nothing She said she and her children are now facing hardship and is seeking intervention and justice. The matter was brought before Brekete Family for mediation and public attention. Video 👉🏿 youtu.be/UHqNndC8oeY

GROUP ALLEGES ₦72M AUCTION VEHICLE FRAUD BY CUSTOMS OFFICER A group of individuals has brought a complaint against a man identified as Muhammed Tijjani, said to be an officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, over a disputed auction vehicle transaction. According to the complainants, they collectively paid ₦72 million to him for the purchase of auctioned vehicles. However, they alleged that the vehicles were never delivered as agreed, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the transaction. They stated that after suspecting foul play, they reported the matter to a senior officer within the Nigeria Customs Service. The group claimed they were surprised when the officer allegedly handed the matter back to the same individual, leading them to believe similar complaints may have occurred previously. The complainants said they subsequently involved the Nigeria Police Force, who arrested the suspect but later released him without their knowledge. They also reported the case to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where he was again arrested and later granted bail. According to the group, the suspect was rearrested at some point but was released again, leaving them frustrated and uncertain about the status of their case. They believe the matter has not been fully resolved, which prompted them to seek public attention and intervention. The complaint was brought before Brekete Family in hopes of achieving clarity, accountability, and a fair resolution. Video 👉🏿 youtu.be/cpcFkpeNsb4

However, after the payment was made, he alleged that communication became difficult and the promised visa did not materialize.
