@craigkellyAFEE Could @OneNationAus @MRobertsQLD @PaulineHansonOz introduce a #NoTaxOnOvertime bill to gain more support from the working class?

BREAKING - LATEST POLL : One Nation ahead of Liberal Party.
Well it’s finally happened. For the first time ever, One Nation is ahead of the Liberal Party in a major poll.
The combined Coalition Vote is down to 24%, which would be likely be spilt 6.5% National - 17.5% Liberal.
One Nation is polling 18%.
But importantly, the polling was done from 7th Nov to 13th Nov, therefore it was done in the period BEFORE the Coalition dumped Net Zero.
If the Liberals didn’t drop Net Zero, the party would have
disintegrated.
But it could already too late. The next polls will be very interesting.

THESE GAYS… they put my art on the closing float!!! 🛥️
One year since @breko + #diyRAINBOW wrapped up the Sydney Mardi Gras parade with mayhem and pizazz, feat. my Jennifer Coolidge/White Lotus artwork on the final float! 🏳️🌈✨
Will you be watching the televised march tonight?

@subtlysaid If the ALP were voted into government 2019 they would have made changes to negative gearing they would have made houses more affordable. But Murdoch Press and the LNP did a big scare campaign. Then the LNP did nothing to make houses more affordable! #QandA

@breko NSW Health has never had a float. Despite even applying for it.
Why should the police feel entitled to one?

I was on the Board of Mardi Gras for 3 years and it was always my position at the time that it was more appropriate for members of the Force who wanted to celebrate Mardi Gras do so peppered across Community Floats in their private capacity. By the way - like most people with jobs have to do so unless you're lucky enough to be in a Corporation who spends BIG on their own float. (Even the NRL, Teachers and Uni Students Floats have been regularly knocked back by Mardi Gras over the last few years).
It was never a big issue at Board level because I knew I was in the minority with that opinion. Part of my thinking around it was the Police culture that is infamous in our queer community, particularly outside of the Surry Hills Station (hello Redfern!). It's no secret some officers have been urged not to March by others in the force as its for 'the lower level force people'. Of course I feel for the well hearted within the force & for my fellow LGBTQIAs that feel it's a positive to have the force marching - but the Parade is not a stepping stone to a better culture - it's a celebration and reward that is not yet earned. Google Matthew Levinson, Google Mardi Gras + Jamie Jackson.
We had the Police marching in the Parade BEFORE apologies were given around the first Mardi Gras in 1978. And the apology wasn't even from the NSW Police Commissioner but on a Friday afternoon from his representative just 7 years ago. It's an awkward relationship between Police & the Queer Community and it's a tough situation for Mardi Gras.
Do we still need Dogs and Fines at the Bondi Party in 2024? This is part of the background of some anger that is coming from the community.
This very sad crime that has taken place has not done so in a vacuum.
