According to the buyers, clients prefer avocados from Peru and not Kenya due to quality concerns. They only buy them when there is a shortage.

From January until the end of February, avocados come to Europe mostly from Israel, Chile, and Colombia. Peru, South Africa, and Kenya in March to October.

We started receiving casualties from the demonstration in CBD from around noon. So far we have recieved 45, seven being female with different kinds of injuries. Treatment and surgeries for the casualties is on going. We have had no mortalities from the demonstration so far.
