I am going to trigger some Americans but honest idc... Why in the world do Americans keep using Fahrenheit system for temperature. Legit asking. Celcius is straight forward and to the point. 0 Celcius and negatives is cold AF, anything over 35 Celcius is getting spicy, and 100 Celcius is RIP. Fahrenheit just looks like arbitrary convoluted numbers to me.

🇩🇪 A Turkish doctor in Germany is speaking out as the heatwave exposes hospitals running without AC, even in critical care. "Patients who are already in critical condition now have to deal with the heat." Staff are sweating through scrubs, gloves and masks, often without a second to wipe it away. Elsewhere, staff in cardiac units are reportedly falling back on ice-filled cooling vests, with families asked to bring ice packs from home to keep post-op heart patients safe.
