Here's some of what Mick Cronin had to say recently about his issues with how UCLA's schedule was built by the Big Ten. UCLA logged 7,700 total miles and approximately 20 hours in travel to play four games over a 10-day span. But: Bruins do play six of their next seven in LA.

@Reghanson This is perception more than reality, though. We THINK we were safer back then, but by any measurable statistic, the world is a safer place for kids in America now than they have ever been - including those of us who grew up in the 80s & 90s.

lol when i was 9-10 yrs old me, my brother and our friends used to walk 2-3 miles to baseball practice and back. Took short cuts through the woods. No worries at all. Can’t allow your kids to do that today.
