@brett51461 It was not part of the Canon for mainstream Judaism, nor was it in the Septuagint, the Greek Translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, which became the "unofficially official" Bible of the Early Church. THAT'S why it was never included in the Christian Bible.

This is simply NOT TRUE! They did NOT "burn it", nor was there any "laws" made against it. Also, the Council of Nicaea had absolutely NOTHING to do with choosing the books of the Bible.
