@JUSTCHILLY @BJMedia1 It’s one of the reasons of many that I retired. It starts in the home and trickles down from there. Discipline, accountability, sportsmanship, positive culture, peer leadership, coaching, expectations etc. are all factors. Kids don’t listen to the right messages and messengers.

Nearly 2000 years ago, Palm Sunday marked the beginning of the last week of the mortal ministry of Jesus Christ. Scriptures tell us that the week began with throngs standing at the gates of the city to see “Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee” (Matthew 21:11).
Though we do not stand at the gates of Jerusalem today with palms in our hands, the time will come when “all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, [will stand] before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands” (Revelation 7:9). #GreaterLove

@CoachRangel50 @gridironarizona @browne_football Implemented it at Verrado, Copper Canyon, Valley Vista, and Paradise Honors. Katy HS in Texas perfected it. Player-led programs are always stronger because they get the opportunity to lead, be empowered, and be your eyes and ears within your program. Great job Coach! #dividends

@radioguyaz99 One of the reasons I retired from coaching high school football is these “Trash Talk Bowls!” It’s the small percentage of people that wild out that make these things difficult to be a part of. Many of these kids are taught that college coaches are watching them at 7s tourneys 🙄

I love collecting small Nativity scenes from the places I visit for the first time, each one carrying a gentle, quiet reminder of the Savior.
While contemplating those humble Nativity scenes, my wife and I once pondered, “What is it that truly matters most in our lives?” The answer, of course, is the Savior, His gospel, and our family.
To remind us of our Heavenly Father’s love for us and of the truth that it is through the Savior that the promise of eternal families becomes possible, a few years ago, just before Christmas, we placed all our Nativities on two large shelves in our home—and decided to keep them there rather than put them away after the holiday season.
That tradition helps us keep the spirit of Christmas in our home year-round.
Every day as we look at those Nativity scenes, they gently remind us of the Savior’s central role in our lives. They remind us that peace on earth now (see Luke 2:14) and eternal happiness in the next world depend on honoring the covenants we have made with the Lord.

@ClancysCorner Sure is funny how leaders and coaches use polls, analytics, and statistics to support their positions until it doesn’t. The OL is bad and not getting better any time soon. Coach speak is getting old.

@Bickley_Marotta Dan Fouts…amazing to watch, great ball, and a great example off the field. Still love him and those “Air Coryell “ Chargers!
English

@Bickley_Marotta Because our confidence in management, leadership, and strength of the roster are so low. This team is years away from competing in their division and Booker’s prime years are behind him at that point. I think they’re going to play hard but we lack size and scoring. #Sundown

@Bickley_Marotta @DougHaller Why isn’t anyone talking about the fact that Sam Leavitt, a pre-season All American, Heisman Trophy candidate, and QB of ASU Big 12 Champion, was injured playing pickup basketball during the season? Injuries happen but this sounds like it was preventable.
