@Echebraun ("Eche") is the founder of @brevitypro, a startup looking to support legal departments of big corporations organize, store and manage their paperwork. Brevity has operations and clients in Chile 🇨🇱, Argentina 🇦🇷, and Mexico 🇲🇽. @dshglobal Ventures invested in Eche's startup after meeting @giulcriv and @DinaKhattab_ in Argentina when we were running our first Draper Founders Program in Latam at @draperlatam. Amongst other things, we discussed about a reference from The Artist's way, by Julia Cameron: "Leap, and the net will appear". After a few years, he realized that something should be done to be able to do his job better and in a more manageable way. 🏁 STARTING BREVITY AGAIN Some time ago, Ezequiel realized that Brevity's target customer were not law firms but rather legal departments of big corporations. As a friend of his put it, he's found his footing: he discovered his ideal customer and can describe it perfectly. 🧾 A FIRST TOUCH WITH STARTUPS In many cases, we're the first contact that our client-users have with startups and newer tech as they start to have innovation KPIs demanded by the C-Level. They all use different systems to organize their work, but some of them are several years old by now and have been in use for long. 🇲🇽 MOVING TO MEXICO TO LAUNCH OPERATIONS I'm very grateful to my board because they clearly set the expectations for sales as we launched operations there: first, that we needed to be there; next, that it would take a long time to lock our first client. That's why our first conversations with clients were exploratory, trying to adapt our offering and adjust the value prop to their needs. My advice is to ask for the support of communities you can relate with. 🤖 SMALLER TEAMS WITH AI Eche envisions a future of smaller law firms, where each partner has "many ChatGPTs" supporting their work.
