@laptopsdirectuk folks I know times are hard but I'm still not sure why I've been waiting over a week now for YOUR supplier to organise MY monitor return? Nobody's answering the phones - again, times are hard but folks can still man the phones from home, right?

Tsukemen ramen of sorts. High (for ramen: 40%) hydration dough, blend of medium and low protein flours, 1% salt, 2% baked baking powder. Mixed for about 5 mins, then rested for 90 mins in a dehydrator at about 30C.… instagram.com/p/CABDWX7J9Bq/…

Farinata: Genovese chickpea flatbread. Low supply of flour about, so thought I'd try to diversify the staples a bit. 300g chickpea flour, 900g water, mix well, leave for 5-10hrs. Add 50ml oil, 10g salt before… instagram.com/p/B-zO1ETJr9_/…

After an intense brewday (what could have gone wrong, went wrong), managed to find the strength to make some curry katsu. Aside from the rather average pork loin, everything else was pretty damn tasty. Calrose… instagram.com/p/B-sblfbpTWv/…

Back to pizza after a bit of a break. This is Caputo Rosso flour, 60% hydration on the Uuni with gas adapter mod. Cooking quite nicely after a bit of practice. instagram.com/p/B-fbM--pArS/…

Don't forget, if you can't find food at a supermarket or your local shop, you can still go for a walk and grab something from the local fields or shoreline without getting in close proximity of other folks. Today we… instagram.com/p/B-C9sVcJwQS/…

Foraged sumac. Not much out this time of year apart from sloes and rosehips. First time processing these, around about 10 quite large buds filled a jar, took about 1hr total to get through. My method was: 1. Pick.… instagram.com/p/B4NmVdXlQke/…

Shea butter with citrus. Actually it's more like a mayo than butter! Funny making skincare products when you don't actually like the bowl after whipping it up, you just scoop it out with your hands and smear it over… instagram.com/p/B1qpUmfF6Fp/…

First pizza on the gas fired Uuni for quite a long time. As I was a bit out of practice, made three for two of us, and used a lower hydration (50%) to reduce splitting, which ends up most of the time with a ruined… instagram.com/p/B0Oqt64l6w8/…

@horshamcoffee Sure happy to give it a try. Just not a super big fan of highly acidic low roast level coffee. If you have something more suitable I'd be happy to try. Bond st were helpful but wasn't happy with the Brazilian. Maybe better with milk?

@brewbrighton hi guys, sorry to hear that. Something like our Sumatra or Brazil would have been far better. Happy to send you something else?

@horshamcoffee folks have a small problem with the coffee I bought from Bond st yesterday - asked for a low acidity coffee and got a barely past first crack Costa Rica. Smells lovely but really not my thing. What can I do here?

@pdhywrd13 @alan_macleod What people voted for was to leave the EU, not the text following that, let's be clear on that, there was never any specification on the referendum questions.

@alan_macleod So essentially most of the Tories are following what the public voted for which was Leave the EU ie not be tied into a Customs Union or a Common Mrkt 2.0 so we have to blame Labour MPs for sorry mess because they aren't doing as they were told to do.

@DecentPints hey fella - so we weren't totally blown away by either of the "V" beers. I think Vichtenaar was the better of the two with some more balsamic complexity on the nose. My preference among the classic Flemish reds was the Ichtegem, but the @struise won the day.
