7 years ago I was part of a crew changing a bearing on a hydro turbine. I lost my footing on the shotty staging and started to slide down. Smacked my hard hat off the casing but was able to grab an impeller blade on the way down and catch myself. Was able to get back to the top, crew had their jaws on the floor. Buddy gave me a “you good?” I said “yup” and we got back to keeping on. I think about this often.

How many of you have had a close call with equipment and never told a soul? Not your wife, not your kids, not your neighbor. Just filed it away and went back to work?

If you’re a struggling starting pitcher, you’re absolutely begging the skip to start against Boston.

@tylermilliken_ Anderson with a couple huge pitches to get out of a tough situation and then the offense just farts all over themselves.

It feels like every game the Red Sox have a an inning or two from the offense that is absolutely pathetic. That was just 5 pitches. The 4th was only 7. So damn depressing to watch.

That at bat should fire the team up. But it’s the 2026 Red Sox so they will fart on their hands.
