We've been running weed seed samples through the @SeedDestructor test stand. Looking at the effects of chaff flow rate and chaff moisture on various weed seeds in soybean and wheat chaff.

'El Toro' and 'Cavalier' are both really good zoysiagrass cultivars for various reasons. This fall, however, I observed some stark differences in large patch tolerance between them in our large patch fungicide trials. We'll see how these two do in the spring, though!

Cryogenic treatments work, even on cold adapted weeds such as Poa. This is 6 days after treatment of liquid nitrogen at 10, 20, or 30 mls. With an engineered application system, I may be able to go lower than 10 mls.
