[PSA] False flaggers on the Garry's Mod Workshop. There is someone, or a group of trolls going around the Gmod workshop filing false DMCA claims and shutting down addons, over 10 Gmod addon makers, myself included have been attacked, with over a dozen of our addons gone.

Gonna correct myself here, but by 11th, I mean February 11th, two of my friends, who got their addons struck before me got their strikes late January, but nobody got any emails until the 21st, nobody "rushed to conclusions" as people claim.

Everyone can clown on us for "not being lawyers", but you know what we are? Modders, when all this stuff went down, me the other victims didn't kniw what was going on until a week or so due to not getting emails until the 11th, but the claims and takedowns were there prior.

And it's stuff like this why I fought the workshop, not just Garry's Mod, because if it can take down a community as vast as Gmod, you get stuff like this.

Sure, Garry has been 'assured', but given he'll provide proof of the Skibidi claims(which I know are real, but are still bullshit for him, and I hate Skibidi), but not Nintendo, kinda hard to trust him given too he'll troll anyone such as his questions for the "it's fake guys".

With what Kaze pointed out with the DMCA system on Youtube, this is making me think back to that Garry's Mod situation that happened earlier this year. I went to check to see if it was similarly handled, and what do you know: it is. This is insanely easy to abuse and lie about.

5. This was abandoned because I cut ties with him, he uploaded literally the same model(Which is still up while mine got struck down btw), the FDL, it came up JUST as I updated said model pack years I removed credit because NOBODY wanted to associate with him. not a coincidence.
