⚽️We're celebrating 20 years of the Premier League Kicks programme, which uses the power of football and sport to help young people reach their potential. ⚽️ Over the last 20 years more than 1 million hours of Premier League Kicks sessions have been delivered across England and Wales, supporting more than 600,000 young people. Thanks to Premier League funding, Blackburn Rovers Community Trust can deliver seven Premier League Kicks sessions at Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre, Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, Inspire Youth Zone and Our Lady and St John Catholic College. 🫡 Reporting for matchday duty. 🏟️We were pleased to welcome Glenside Juniors and Coppull Utd to Ewood Park, on Saturday, as part of our community matchday experience. A fantastic start to our girls’ Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) programme at the BRIC this evening. 🙌 This week we welcomed our first cohort of players, who took part in structured coaching and conditioning sessions as they begin their journey within the community based ETC programme. 💙🤍 It was great to see the energy, commitment and enthusiasm from everyone involved. 🏃‍♀️⚽️ 🤝A big thank you to the players and staff who made our first ETC session such a positive start. 👀 Keep an eye out for details of our first round of U16 trials, with additional age group trials being announced next month. @EnglandFootball | @Rovers | @RoversWFC #brctetc | #emergingtalentcentre

World Book Day Activities! 📔 It was great to welcome so many pupils from St Edwards Darwen, St Michael with St John CE Primary School, Blackburn and St Stephens Tockholes to take part in our English Intervention Day here at Ewood Park. Pupils took part in workshops, supported by local historian Mike Jackman and poet David Swann, learning about the history of Blackburn Rovers and writing articles. The day was topped off by everyone choosing a book to take home, provided by the Premier League Primary Stars partnership with the National Literacy Trust. In total, we've distributed 1,200 books to local schools through this initiative. Thank you! What a night! Friday’s Family Bingo Evening with was an absolute “full house” of fun! 💙🤍 Fun and laughter were the “doctor's orders”, along with some brilliant prizes.
