@SoulFairy3 Wait 🫷 so you bring your own laptop that you bought with your own money?
That's illegal in SA. the employer must provide tools for you to use in work. If not then there must be an agreement for them to rent your tools during the course of your employment there
English

@Yanga_Co Supply us for free or we are buying it?
Let's not confuse economic transactions between countries with what illegal foreigners are doing.
English

@theberneese I am disappointed as a Barca fan, your not raising the flag for Barca Fermina after their wonderful win against Bayern
English

@Celinanelo The ideology that anything that includes visual is done for self admiration is profoundly stupid.
English

@FCBarcelona We don't want them to slip up. They must win.

@succi_edwards Bro 😎.. don't even bother with these ones.... If she is not subscribing to what you are asking just walk away

First proper date with this girl from Johannesburg South. We go to a sushi place, everything smooth. Bill comes to R680.
I say “Cool, let’s split it?” She looks at me like I slapped umawakhe and she said “You invited me, so you pay. That’s how it works.”
I paid, but the vibe died instantly. Later she texts “You’re so stingy, no wonder you’re single.”
Bruh… in 2026, is splitting the bill on a first date a red flag or just common sense?

@kumkaniWeAfrika @n_makhubele Also with technology evolving and integration of things like AI, network engineers now also need to know and understand python and more than networking
English

@brianPhoenixS @n_makhubele As an innovative business owner, I would hire people with degrees in order to create tools that IT personnel makes use of. I would do this over people with certificates to install, configure and troubleshoot routers and computer networks
English

@kumkaniWeAfrika @n_makhubele You're making a different point to what I was saying, which is also valid and true.
But a person with a degree will struggle big time building/troubleshooting an MPLS network without having advanced knowledge in networking
English

@Shantel_Mbali @n_makhubele High. Remember certs exams and materials get updated often because of the evolution of the technology. So having it shows that you know what is going in the space you're in.
English

@brianPhoenixS @n_makhubele May I please ask, what are my chances of being employed with a qualification (of course) plus certifications from CISCO?? I want to pivot into cybersecurity
English

@percy_seloane @n_makhubele I don't think it's devaluing the degree... But in technical fields like I mentioned. Certs show that you know more about the technology as of recent standards
English

@brianPhoenixS @n_makhubele What is stopping them to apply for CCNP exam while they have done the CCNA which covers all fundamental networking concepts
Devaluing degrees is rubbish anyone can apply For CCNP exam and pass it without knowing shit
English

@percy_seloane @n_makhubele Yes I am aware of such, but in the networking world if you say I hold a CCNP or CCIE it's given an advantage over others
English

@brianPhoenixS @n_makhubele Are you even aware that some university has module that are made by Cisco itself?
For example if you are doing electrical engineering (process control and computer systems) at Vaal university of technology your engineering networks and programming module are provided by cisco
