#nw: lars and the real girl (2007) a gosling film i've wanted to watch for a very long time but didn't. in honor of this new acc and all the gosling fans who are now moots with me 🥂

just finished watching lars and the real girl. i really really loved it, resonated with me more than i expected to. and i definitely think it's one of gosling's best roles. anyways, here's my letterboxd review in case anyone wants more of my rambling ୨ৎ boxd.it/dW6CY7

and honestly i think that's the greatest compliment u can give to an actor/actress. so yes, i'm enjoying this very very much. also the scene at the very beginning where he just YEETS that flower out the way made me cackle so hard

his roles can be and how he always gives them his all and DOES GOOD. even in his weaker movies i don't think i've seen him do an unconvincing role. this one is immensely interesting and personal and raw and it's almost hard to comprehend the person on the screen is ryan gosling+

quick comment cause i had to pause it for a second: im loving it so so so much and ryan is absolutely amazing in this. sometimes i think most ppl assume i like him just cause he's attractive or charming or funny but honestly what draws me most to him is how vastly different+
