@ChandlerSupple Yes you can set up skills/automations that are attached to email receipt -- so you can get it to do pretty much anything you need. Could even access Github and look at codebase to answer product questions people have like "where in settings can i manage my account" etc

@brianjoseff Sweet! Can I configure other skills to run when I receive an email (e.g., "If we get a sales inquiry, research the sender and share a customized one-pager")?

I don’t want another AI slop app.
I want a system where AI handles the minutiae so I can focus on high-leverage, creative, uniquely human work.
River, when set up to act as a Chief of Staff, is just that.
Because River understands my work, files, conversations, priorities, and ongoing threads, it helps me:
☞ Work through my inbox 99% on its own, drafting emails in my voice and clearing noise
☞ Manage my relationships with more consistency
☞ Turn loose ideas and fragmented threads into concrete next steps
☞ Keep track of people, projects, and commitments I’d otherwise lose
Here’s a walkthrough of River acting as my AI Chief of Staff.

@ChandlerSupple When will you be self-publishing that multi-volume Romantasy epic you were telling me about?
English

@ChandlerSupple Insane numbers on this PR .... we truly do live in a brave new world

Few demos from a new document editing tool I'm working on with @brianjoseff to enable the world's first 100x writer
Still rough around the edges, but would love some feedback rivereditor.com

@johnkrausphotos Hey! DM’ing you now. Sorry I don’t even remember where I found that tbh

@brianjoseff Hey BJ, you’re using an image of mine on your website. Mind shooting me a message here on X?

Alright party people….time to announce something we’ve been grinding on in stealthy silence for literally FOUR (4) years.
Bedrock Galactica, or Gal!
It's a personal computer that is web-integrated, Ai-augmented, and owned by you.

@SiliconSynapses @brianjoseff They've been working on this for FOUR (4) years but didn't consider this
English

@brianjoseff Okay. I suppose. The $5k price is going to be a problem, though.

@brianjoseff @BenjaminDEKR Cool idea but selling a 5000$ pc where the specs havent even been released yet with a 500$ non-refundable reservation fee is very scammy.
English

@reillywood linux but we think most people will actually interface with it via a client on their Mac or in-browser
English

@AI__Cassandra indeed. that's why i chose that as an example! unfortunately from personal experience
English

@brianjoseff Fun fact: not all LLMs will support this prompt. They'll flag it as harmful. Great example! 👌🏼

English

@brianjoseff Does it mean the AI is 100% local and has a 100% functionality without any of your servers?
English

@BenjaminDEKR I had an aggressive stalker for awhile and thought very seriously about this. It would have been extremely helpful to be able to talk to an Ai about it.
