AI doesn't create slop, people do. At least that's my opinion. Ultimately AI is just another tool and the quality it produces is largely dependent upon the skills of the person using the tool. If you gave me a set of oil paints, you would end up with the train wreck of a painting, but if you give those same tools to somebody who understands the medium, has a good eye for composition, layout, and colour, you'll get a very different result. You do not only need to understand how to prompt AI (the medium) but also need to have the underlying skills to use the tool effectively within the context you are working.
