This might look like a ‘PR statement’ to those who don’t know me, but I promise you it’s not. I wake up every day determined to make this space better, and I won’t stop. And I know I’m not alone. Everyone at FlyQuest has my back on this, and together, WE won’t stop.

Sexism in society, and especially in gaming, is rooted in systems that have long made it feel acceptable to diminish women. None of it is okay, yet too often it’s brushed off. How many times have we all experienced microaggressions where speaking up makes you the ‘bad guy’?

After almost 5 and a half years, today is my last day at Amazon and Twitch . Soon my next chapter will be shared separately, however I wanted to take the time to appreciate and express gratitude for my time here. My time at Twitch and Amazon was one of the most formative of my professional and personal journeys. I got engaged, married, bought and sold a house, moved to different states, became a dog dad, and became a #girldad. I bled purple 💜 and I worked to embody LPs. Colleagues have become tremendous friends and vital people in my life. Our teams won Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity , CLIO , Shorty Awards , The Webby Awards , Effie, and Tempest Awards for our incredible clientwork. We gave hope to people during 2020 and raised money for pandemic victims and other incredible charitable causes along the way. We worked with some of the biggest names in gaming and live-streaming, and some of the biggest professional athletes, musicians, actors, and content creators. Our programs played a role in elevating and growing the careers and career trajectories for streamers and content creators who were relatively unknown and are now household names in the gaming and Twitch community. Fortune 100 and 500 execs entrusted us to connect their brands and marketing with the gaming and Twitch communities in a credible and creative way. First-of-its-kind 360 ecommerce programs and custom metaverse activations were developed for clients and delivered results. Our sales team helped esports organizations, a professional women’s sports league, an HBCU Esports League, gaming events, and esports tournaments secure marquee partnerships. Twitch Rivals was built from the ground up and has transformed into one of the largest gaming properties in the world with the help of incredible multi-year brand partnerships. This job took me around the world to Mexico City, Paris, and Amsterdam along with being able to experience League of Legends Worlds Finals and seeing the G.O.A.T., Faker. While I’m not going to call out names I do want to thank my Twitch Properties team for an unbelievable ride building a business from scratch and all the incredible service we provided to clients. Thank you to my sales partners within Twitch and Amazon as well as our Account Managers, Strategists, A&I team, Sales Marketing, and BPS/Custom Solutions team. Thanks to my Twitch AE and Hardlines teams for everything you did for me this year, I really enjoyed our short but meaningful time together. Update about what is next coming soon, stay tuned! 👀
