Forgot how hard it is to start a company. Constant second-guessing. Imposter syndrome. Shiny objects. Crazy markets. And now I’m 13 years older and have two kids. 😰

You know guys, I don't want to flex too hard on everyone, but I wore a short sleeved shirt today. For the first time since probably October. Yes, it was 22 at my house this morning, but the weather prognosticators say it will be 70 this afternoon.

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 Ours came with a backup camera but we haven’t managed to get it to pair to the app. (Something someone like me should be able to figure out.). Not sure if it works while driving. It’s a narrow camper. Backs super easily.

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 It’s fine. Get an anti-sway hitch. We don’t have one yet, but tow ours with an F150 and can easily go 75mph. If there is a big crosswind we go slower but hoping the anti-sway hitch helps that. We go from 19mpg to like 11 pulling it.

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 Nice! We have the Black Label model which has minor upgrades. But it has the off-road package which gets you a lift and bigger wheels. Good for us since we take it into the woods. Good luck in your search!

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 Probably a good idea. It’s all about how you want to use it. For us, beds and toilet are all we care about. We don’t want to be in the thing for anything else and were unwilling to pay more for extras we have to tow everywhere. Others are different and have a sick 5th wheel!

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 If you only camp at sites with hookups, none of this matters. You are good to roll out of the box. If it is your first camper, keeping it simple is probably best. We had an even shittier popup than @davatron5000's before this camper. we learned a lot.

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 If you want to do AC off of batteries you will for sure need at least 200 amp hours of lithium iron and an inverter powerful enough to power it (ACs are 120v). we don't run A/C off grid. but we generally don't camp where it is hot at night so it cools down to sleep.

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 The fridge is WAY bigger though. And it's like $14K less than a Minnie Winnie or something like that. We have the bunkhouse model so our kids have their own beds we don't have to set up. Only 3500lbs, so tows really easily.

@ChrisFerdinandi @davatron5000 Yes to all of those. Came with a small solar panel. We are upgrading to 400w of panels and 200amps of lithium iron because we do a fair amount of primitive. Biggest downside to this camper if you do that a lot is that the fridge is ONLY electric(12v DC). No propane.

It’s been a really mild winter so far with only a few days barely below zero, but we got a good chill today. Can’t wait for the mid to high 40s tomorrow! instagram.com/p/CYZDES0sPIW/…

This guy. Just acting like everything’s normal and half a deer leg isn’t in his mouth. Which, actually is pretty normal around here. Not sure how far they wander into the woods to find this stuff. instagram.com/p/CXMLw9hpUSy/…
