Jon is right, and the VT House agreed. Today they voted 99-43 to pass comprehensive changes to promote affordable housing and smart growth, protect forests and wildlife habitat, support the forest products industry, and restore oversight of the Act 250 program. Congrats!

Splitting oversight of pollution prevention programs between two agencies, including one (VT Agency of Agriculture) that refuses to follow the rules, undermines farmers and water quality. A clean water agenda and a working lands agenda are not mutually exclusive.
