@historyrock_ I think Rush are superb musicians but don’t much like their songs (I find them a bit boring, sorry). While we’re having a confessional apart from first couple of albums I don’t much like U2 either. I’m glad they bring happiness to millions of others though :)

@LesPurves Sadly yes. You may know already but 2 lads died in a crowd crush. Pre social media days we had no idea until we got home. Obviously we were aware it was pretty scary at times but basically had a great day then got home to hear that terrible news.

@marisaciao @Mikehomeseller Obviously I’m biased but there’s a lot of beautiful landscapes for such a small country. This is the harbour in the town where I live Tenby, Pembrokeshire. I suspect we’re all a bit biased and there’s equally beautiful places the world over.

@Johnnypapa64 I only comment on players from the eras I’ve been watching football. On that basis John Barnes would be very high on this list. I realise Gerrard didn’t win as many trophies as some but he carried an average team for about 10 years and won a European Cup so deserves more credit.

@JVMonte2 Gorillaz,last Friday. I’ve watched Damon Albarn quite a few times over the years with Blur and Gorillaz. He was as good as I’ve seen him and the band and guests were excellent. Superb.

@LFC @zarahsultana Been a fan since the early 80s and in my humble opinion he’s among the very best in that time. Sorry to see him going, glad it’s ( apparently) on amicable terms.

Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season. The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield ❤️
