@Prophh__ @skygrote If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all. She’s also teaching your youth wrestlers that you don’t always win but hard work and consistency allows you to barely lose to an Olympian. I hope you give your youth wrestlers the grace and support everyone deserves.l

Unless they are checking blood work and monitoring electrolytes this will last until someone unfortunately gets very sick or dies. 🫠 yes, not likely but not impossible especially in a severely malnourished and dehydrated population. Oral hydration is preferred if you can drink

@sananiades @skygrote It can be very dangerous in a person who has not been eating or drinking. Rapid rehydration can cause significant fluid shifts and electrolyte imbalances. Oral rehydration is always the best option unless you are in a hospital setting with electrolytes monitore

@skygrote IV Therapy isn't a problem. It is an excellent way to hydrate and, btw, it helps protect from concussions. The problem is massive weight cuts. It is massive weight cuts that are the problem.
