We have the right to vote privately and independently.
After voting, please complete the blind voter survey and share your story at nfb.org/vote. Results will be provided to state election officials, state protection and advocacy agencies, and voting rights advocates.

I voted, however I was unable to vote privately and independently.my polling place had an accessible machine, however the polling people did not no how to turn on The screen reading software and put very little effort into trying to get it operating. @NFB_voice #A11y

President Trump says he'll take the presidential election to the Supreme Court, but it's unclear what he means in a country in which vote tabulations routinely continue beyond Election Day, and states largely set the rules for when the count has to end. mprnews.org/story/2020/11/…

#CountEveryVote That’s it. It’s simple. Let’s just do what we tell our kids we do when we hold an election: count ALL the votes!

President Trump in Iowa is claiming if we don’t know who won the election on Tuesday night that the election is being stolen. Note: The results of the election have never been certified on election night and officials could very well still be counting after Tuesday night.

Trump: "Does this mean we go and we wait so it's not Nov. 3, it's going to be much later than that? No. We should know the result of the election on Nov. 3. The evening of Nov. 3 That's the way it's been and that's the way it should be. What's going on in this country?"

@audreyassad Would you mind using Twitter's alt text option for pics you post? Otherwise, blind followers do not know what it is. Tell your friends. We want to enjoy pictures also. :) #A11y

Using the term blind has power and reflects the belief that it is respectable to live as a blind person. Training center instructors discuss the term blind as it relates to our self-confidence. For full video: youtu.be/95Ni2x3qY5g

@audreyassad I feel like about the age of 5 is an acceptable age to put a pillow over your head and go back to sleep. If this is the wrong approach, then I have been wrong more than once.

In swing states, where the margins of victory are likely to be close, rules that prohibit counting ballots before Election Day may mean it takes hours or days before a winner is declared.

@rabiasquared It's disturbing how fast people point out Senator Harris' past (if it is even true) ... as if republicans gave a damn about ethics. If they really cared, they'd call him out on his BS.

@rabiasquared Same questions every debate really. No LGBTQIA issues corered, no disability rights issues... not surprising but still irritating.

@mikiebarb Disability and LGBT rights have been skipped in all of the debates. Why is that? I'm sure I know why but I'd like to hear someone talk about it.

I'm excited about the progress Microsoft is making in the image descriptions space. That said, it still doesn't remove the responsibility from content authors to validate/edit the descriptions to capture meaning. blogs.microsoft.com/ai/azure-image…
